Sale Season Continues at Sam & Lilli

With the recent demise of Dryden Kreps and the upcoming closure of Settlement Goods, we’re a little concerned about Sam & Lilli.

The trendy West Ave boutique is holding a blowout sale this weekend, with most items marked down 70 to 80 percent. Expect everything from jeans to swimsuits to dresses, but don’t expect to find these deals at the store. The sale is located at Belvedere nightclub in Uptown Park, which, like Sam & Lilli, is owned by Lee Ellis (he’s also a partner in the F.E.E.D. TX restaurant group, the one behind restaurants including Liberty Kitchen and BRC Gastropub).

Call us jaded (see above) but a sale this good at an off-site location does makes us wonder if Sam & Lilli is not long for this world. But don’t fret—Sam & Lilli threw similar blowout sales the past two springs, and a rep for the store says the sale is to make room for the new spring and summer collections, which also makes perfect sense. 

One thing’s for sure—it’s a great time to get shopping.
