There were plenty of good reasons to pay close attention at the “Passport to Fashion” runway show benefitting Dress for Success at the Junior League: because the outfits were designed around Houston’s mild fall weather instead of New York’s, because the models are your friends, because everything on the runway was available to purchase straightaway at Tootsies and because master of ceremonies Fady Armanious, the creative director at Tootsies, was giving away gift cards to women in the audience who could successfully recall all the fall trends he described.

Among them: Victorian details, full sleeves (particularly with short skirts), tweed, pale pink, corsets, high-waisted outfits, fur and over-the-knee boots. Check these outfits for inspiration and then go ahead, get to shopping.
