If there was a star at the first-ever fall edition of Runway Houston on Thursday night, it was the gorgeous mild weather, so perfect for an evening of fashion al fresco that everyone addressing the crowd couldn’t help mentioning it. Add to that one of Houston’s loveliest backdrops in River Oaks District and six talented designers—an equal mix of talented locals and exciting Project Runway alums—and you’ve got all the ingredients for an amazing evening of fashion.

It was tricky, but we captured every look on the catwalk, and picked out our 10 favorites—looks we’re hoping to see more of—preferably in our closets—this season.
