Damien and Trina Mandola’s sprawling estate is a slice of Tuscany in the Texas Hill Country. Now Mandola—who is best known for co-founding Carrabba’s Italian Grill in 1986 and eventually selling the rights to Bloomin’ Concepts, is selling the stunning Villa Antichità for $12 million. The property comprises 323 acres in Driftwood, about 30 minutes outside Austin, and partially abuts scenic Onion Creek, which has been partially dammed to create swimming holes for water sports and recreation.

The villa itself was designed by renowned architect Ed Eubanks and includes an 8,721-square-foot main house with five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a state-of the-art kitchen befitting a noted Italian chef and airy living spaces that are filled with European antiquities hand-picked by Mandola. There’s also two additional guest houses, a pool, a bocce court and extensive gardens.

Not Italian enough for you? Mandola has also put his Italian residence in Piedmont on the market.
