Last night was a big night for Nordstrom at The Woodlands, which opened its doors for an opening gala benefiting Texas Children’s Hospitals The Woodlands. A crowd of 1,500 guests —including fourth-generation family members Blake, Pete, Erik, and Jamie Nordstrom— sipped cocktails, savored hors d’oeuvres, and became the retailers first shoppers. Models donned Fall trends that included bold blues, pattern mixing, and excess layers. Proceeds and generous donations raised more than $200,000 for Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands, the state-of-the-art hospital slated to open in 2017. The brand new 138,000 square-foot Nordstrom store is officially opens to the public this Friday.
