The houston livestock show and rodeo has always been the perfect place for attendees to show off their best cowboy and cowgirl attire, particularly on the very popular Tejano Day (last Sunday, March 12), which celebrates Houston’s rich Hispanic culture and heritage.
This year guests came dressed to impress in their finery for the matinee concert, which featured La Fiera de Ojinaga and Houston’s Mariachi Imperial de America. From bright colors and bold prints to intricate embroidery and floral and western patterns, the crowd was dressed to the nines. Women wore their best leather boots, belts, and statement jewelry. Men sported cowboy hats, bandanas, and embroidered shirts. Some even donned fringed jackets and leather vests.
