Space City’s latest hotel development is blooming in the Texas Medical Center. Blossom Houston will be the newest boutique hotel to make its way into the city’s ever-growing inner loop, featuring minimalist decor with luxurious taste.
“Following a trying time for our city and state during the last 18 months, we at Blossom Hotel Houston are thrilled to debut the property to the public,” said Albert Ramirez, hotel general manager, in a statement. “We are proud to provide employment opportunities to the community and contribute to revitalizing the local economy all while offering our guests a luxurious yet comfortable stay with superb service and amenities.”

The 16-story hotel boasts 267 pet-friendly rooms and suites for guests to choose from. The space is promoted to be unique, designed to have Houston characteristics and “lunar-inspired” interiors in each room to “create an ambiance that relaxes and soothes following a day of travel, meetings, or exploring Houston” according to the website.
Blossom Hotel is set to offer an extensive amount of amenities and event spaces for patrons to enjoy, such as multilingual concierge services, a rooftop pool, WiFi, Smart TVs, Nespresso coffee makers, a lobby library, and a fitness center that’s equipped with Pelotons. Those wanting to book event rooms will be greeted with the hotel’s 12 multi-functional venues which include the Luna Ballroom, the main conference hall, a Pre-Function space that has “state-of-the-art audiovisual capabilities” with the ability to accommodate up to 250 people.
In addition, social butterflies can gather for cocktails and bar bites at rendezVu, or those who prefer to savor the “exotic flavors of the Far East” will bet able to enjoy authentic Chinese delicacies and a sushi bar with the hotel’s added restaurant Estrela. Guests also have the opportunity to take pleasure in the dining options from the rooftop pool with Zenith, Blossom’s rooftop lounge that offers “sweeping views” of downtown.
With the location being right in the heart of Houston, this hotel is nothing short of the perfect place for a staycation in the city. The grand opening is set for 2022, but the hotel is currently offering promotions through December 31.
