Just the second event, and first “evening” event to take place at The Westin Houston Medical Center, Houstonia’s annual Top Lawyers celebration was hosted by the luxurious, new hotel. More than 100 attorneys and their guests joined the team from Houstonia and Westin general manager, Chris Niederschulte, to celebrate the exciting achievement.
Upon arrival to the airy fifth floor Azure III ballroom, which is on the lobby level of the recently converted historic Medical Towers building, attendees were greeted with a cocktail bar sponsored by Crown Royal, Ketel One and Zacapa Rum. Drinks like the Royal Flush and Botanical Spritz appealed to the crowd and also creatively embraced the personality of the hotel brand, which promotes wellness. As a true testament to the The Westin’s identity, guests also had the opportunity to create their own gemstone rollerballs from the oil bar, sponsored by the gracious hosts.
With cocktails and rollerballs in-hand, the city’s top legal minds mingled, grazed on delicious bites, and enjoyed dessert from Susie Cakes. Entertainment included a drinkable Liquid N’ Lights art installation by local artist Justin Garcia, tunes by DJ Senega, and a mirror photo booth by iHeartFlipbooks. One lucky lawyer left with a guaranteed return, having won a raffle prize for a deluxe staycation at the end of the night.
Houstonia congratulates our 2019 Top Lawyer honorees and thanks our sponsors and partners that helped make this year’s event a success.
