Virtual friendships came to life at the first Connect and Cultivate event on Friday at the JW Marriot Downtown. Blogger Magen Pastor, clothing designer Paola Contreras, and graphic artist Amanda Powers collaborated to design an evening that bridged the gap between social media and face-to-face networking. The evening began with a Fashion Industry panel facilitated by Platformit. Panelists included our very own Houstonia publisher, Diane Caplan, editorial stylist Vico Puentes, designer Jessica McMahon, and the Founder of Fashion Houston, Jared Lang.
