Lucille's has been in the news quite a bit over the past year, and for good reason, as chef-owner Chris Williams and his crew have been able to survive while helping others during the pandemic.
For example, on Monday the restaurant's nonprofit distributed 3,000 free meals to people throughout Houston. For that reason, the acclaimed Southern comfort restaurant in the Museum District won $10,000 as part of Rewards Network's Restaurant Resilient $50K Giveaway. The restaurant was honored on Tuesday with a check presentation.
