Stronger Together
Downtown Window Display Will Encourage Houstonians to Stick Together
The new mural is being made entirely of sticky notes, and the organizers are looking for thousands of names to fill the brightly colored memo sheets.

Every good Houstonian knows what it means to be #HoustonStrong. Artist Robert Hodge is going one step further, reminding his fellow Bayou City residents of the importance of sticking together in these troubling coronavirus-filled times. The multi-disciplinary creative will soon be filling windows in Midway Companies’ downtown GreenStreet property with eye-catching words of encouragement as part of his new project, #StickTogetherHOU!
Using sticky notes, Hodge will spell out the words “Resilient” and “HOU” and also draw a heart (because what Houstonian doesn’t love H-Town?). Each sticky note will hold the name of an individual who has who stood resilient this year in the face of COVID-19, the current fight for social equity through the Black Lives Matter movement, or something else entirely.
The sticky note mural won’t be unveiled until at least mid-July, so if you know someone who's epitomized the idea of resilience during these crazy times, submit their name here to have them included.
