According to the New York Times, Cornelia Guest was "the first celebutante" and "Debutante of the Decade" for the 1980s. On Wednesday Guest, the Palm Beach-born daughter of a socialite and ... wait for it ... polo champion, will be showing off her line of cruelty-free vegan handbags at Tootsies.

While we're not really sure what's involved with becoming Debutante of the Decade (though having Andy Warhol and Truman Capote at the party couldn't have hurt), we're grateful to Guest for giving us a reason to run a picture of a puppy. A percentage of sales from the evening will go to Pup Squad Animal Rescue, which saves pups like Brio, above. We suggest you buy a cruelty-free sebastian weave Hobo, adopt Brio, and proceed to put Brio in the Hobo.
