Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer and it looks like the warm temperatures have started as well. During the summer season we girls want to look good on the beach, at the pool, on the lake or at a party, so we go on the hunt for the latest swimwear. I gathered a few of my stylish friends to share some of their favorite swimsuit trends for this season. The results: hot!
My first look is a crocheted knit bikini with a sleeved crop top. This suit has a '70s girl feel, so I added feather earrings, a bandana and a floral arm wrap. After swim time, you can add a soft skirt and head to the patio for lunch.
Kendra is wearing a glamorous gold and black one piece suit with flattering cut outs. She added a fringe necklace to compliment the neckline along with some diamond earrings and mink ring. Throw on a sheer black wrap skirt over this suit and you can go to lunch or dinner in style.
Former Miss Texas Nicole chose a warm tangerine colored bikini which gives her that sun-kissed look. She added a trendy body chain, colorful fedora and matching beach tote. Her Louis Vuitton sunglasses complete this outfit perfectly. She is ready for the beach!
What if it ends up getting a little chilly by the pool? Kendra's sporting the "polar swim" look with her beige mink and faux fur boots. She opted for the stylish monochromatic look with her ecru bikini. Her beautiful jewelry compliments the gold accents in the suit.
Former Miss Houston Logan chose a soft pink ruffled bikini with gold chain accents. This is such a feminine look and so flattering on glowing skin. Love it!
Miss Houston runner-up Stephanie chose a white bikini with lots of sexy cut outs and a stylish high neck. Add jean shorts to this suit and head out for a casual day.
Miss Houston runner-up Blaine's suit reflects the colors of the sky and sea. Her rich blues and aquas look great by any pool or high-rise balcony!
Kendra is enjoying the day at Zuma Beach in Malibu in a fringe aqua-toned bikini. She added a long ecru/coral fringe necklace and straw hat to reflect that relaxed Cali-girl mood.
I should have my head examined for posing along side all these young beauties, but my last look is a sophisticated black suit with ruffles and a collar neck. The sheer cut-out of the top creates a unique line down the middle. I added glitzy earrings, a black hat and sunglasses. You could wear a long sheer black wrap skirt with this suit and head out to dinner on the patio. Have a great summer everyone!
