Description

Boozy sno-balls, steak nights, crawfish boils, and cheeseburger pop-ups: These are a few of the things that make this quiet little bar, which Raymond Chan and Laura Jordan opened in a former hardware store in the East End in 2017, the best unknown gem in the city. Their unique, thoughtful renovation of the space includes a bar made from an old conveyor belt topped with glass, an ice house–style garage door giving way to outdoor seating, vintage tables and chairs, and well-curated, thrifty art. There’s a great selection of draft beer and cocktails, and those sno-balls—cranked out from a fancy Sno Wizard machine—delight with flavors including boozy Tiger’s Blood and vodka with Kahlúa.
