Bar Type(s)

Although known for its creative infusions (churro-flavored tequila, anyone?), this gastrocantina’s $25 Texan margarita keeps it simple with only five ingredients: Milagro single-barrel reserve añejo, Grand Marnier, fresh-squeezed lime and lemon juices, and agave.

El Big Bad is also the place to drink a blood red Vampiro—the cocktail that combines silver tequila with the aforementioned sangrita in a tall glass over ice with citrus soda and lime wedges. The gastrocantina also serves a bright, refreshing Paloma cocktail made with plata tequila, grapefruit soda, and lime juice.
