Shepherd Park Draught House - Houston

Shepherd Park Draught House solved the problem of where to get good food past midnight in Garden Oaks when it first opened in late 2011, and it’s been solving other problems ever since: where to get growlers of Karbach and bombers of Buffalo Bayou; where to get both Korean short rib tacos and shepherd’s pie on one menu; and where to get a waffle at brunch that’s topped with a Shipley’s glazed donut, bacon, and whipped cream. This highly useful, rock ‘n’ roll-inspired, wonderfully casual neighborhood spot can be bar, restaurant, or both, depending on your needs. And although pizza is one of the few items Shepherd Park doesn’t serve, its sister restaurant, Pink’s Pizza, is right next door.
