Directly across the street from The Flying Saucer in Sugar Land is the town’s other great craft beer destination, Guru Burgers & Crepes, where a small bar doesn’t prevent big breweries from hosting exciting keg tappings, growler fills, and more. Although the crepes are more of an afterthought, the burgers at Guru are consistently excellent—whether it’s weekly specials like The King (topped with peanut butter, bacon, and bananas) or standards like the Ukulele (topped with ham, grilled pineapple, and a fried egg). Don’t miss the crispy yucca fries or the sweet and crunchy beet chips—you’ll wonder what all the fuss over French fries was.
