Chef Anita Jaisinghani’s flagship restaurant, Indika in Montrose, is open and airy, with a chic, modern vibe and plenty of room for the many fans of her fiery food. On Wednesday nights, Jaisinghani serves five- or seven-course tasting menus, which change weekly. Every other night, look for dishes such as pork belly chaat, Texas venison chops in a wild mushroom curry, or specialty naan breads like pistachio-apricot and daikon-potato-mint. Sunday brunch is perfect for sampling dishes, as the restaurant serves an Indian tapas-style menu. This restaurant takes all comers, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free items on offer, as well as beer, wine, cocktails, and even virgin mixed drinks.
