This Lebanese mother’s cuisine of comforting national favorites ranges from kibbeh (deep-fried meat patties), sujuk (spicy Lebanese sausage), chicken livers, and grilled quail, to pan-Mideastern items like stuffed grape leaves, hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel (and that’s just the appetizers).
