Taquerias Tepatitlan is a local chain of casual, reliable eateries with serious tacos and solid, cheap breakfasts. There’s all the usual selections of a local taqueria (tortas, gorditas and enchiladas) and plenty of appealing combo plates, plus a few dishes for those more adventurous. Try the birria, an interior Mexican stewed goat dish. You can get a birria taco or torta, or a platillo with rice, beans and salad. Tepatitlan also makes a mean michelada.
