We're living in unprecedented times. There's a lot of stress, uncertainty, fear, and vitriol out in the world right now, but we want to focus on the good, like the Parker Elementary musical flash mobs or “Germaine Covid,” the social-distancing dummy.
We got to thinking, "A picture is worth a thousand words, right?" So, we at Houstonia have decided to start the Houston Hope Project, where folks can share instances of hope and goodwill in the local community.
We invite you to submit photos that are uplifting, show works of beauty, or celebrate acts of kindness during these trying times. Remind us why we love Houston so much. We will share these photos on our website and social media, giving you credit, and will be creating a photo gallery of our favorites.
Please share this invitation with your friends, family, and other networks. Photos can be submitted via the link above. Please provide any necessary credits or information in the body of the form, as well as detailed information about the scene, people, or places in your photo.
Thank you, and please know how much we appreciate each and every one of you.
