The newest restaurant in the Azuma Group (which also includes Soma Sushi and Kata Robata), Sugar Land’s Azuma on the Lake opened in 2010 with an expansive view onto—you guessed it—a lovely lake, a fitting setting for enjoying the restaurant’s top-quality sushi and sashimi. As with its sister restaurants, Azuma on the Lake offers a blend of traditional Japanese dishes such as chawanmushi (egg custard) and chirashi (rice and fish) bowls alongside updated fusion options including truffle tuna poke and the ever-popular Crazy Irishman roll.
