Description

Damian’s has defined Italian food for generations of Houstonians, having just celebrated its 30th anniversary this year under the stewardship of the Mandola family. The pleasantly unhurried dining room is an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of Midtown, with outstanding service from a staff that’s been there nearly as long as the restaurant itself and a swift valet that eliminates any parking concerns. The food itself is a blend of red-sauce standards and new takes on classic dishes, such as sweet potato ravioli in a sage butter sauce, mixed in with a few old Mandola favorites: Shrimp Damian with fettucine alfredo, and Snapper Butera topped with jumbo lump crabmeat.
