Eden Café is owned by Maria Larramendi, who’s from Venezuela, and her husband Ulises Larramendi, from Cuba. The menu includes dishes from both cultures, lots of South American-style Italian food, and crowd-pleasing comfort-food favorites. The kitchen’s execution is rock-solid, so don’t be afraid to venture outside of your comfort zone—or stick with favorites like the lush chicken Marsala and soulful ropa vieja, the iconic dish from Cuba. The café is comfortable and family-friendly, and the recently expanded wine bar is an excellent happy-hour destination.
