Description
Whether or not you’ve been there, if you dine out often in Houston, you’re probably already a fan of Kraftsmen Café, whose top-quality breads grace the tables of many of the city’s best restaurants. Veteran Houston chef Scott Tycer oversees the commercial bakery and café in a corner of an old textile plant. Open from morning to mid-afternoon each day, the laidback café provides to-go options like croissant sandwiches, bagels, and first-rate pastries, but if you have time to sit down for breakfast, you may want to sample heartier choices like omelets, quiches, and French toast. Hot and cold sandwiches and salads dominate the lunch menu. The popular brunch is BYOB: bring your own bubbly. Dinner is served Thursday through Saturday.
