Cypress-area residents have been keeping Mezzanotte a secret for years and for good cause...they want to keep it to themselves. Serving upscale and contemporary Italian since 2005, regular diners rave about the veal Marsala and the filet mignon; pan seared and flambéed with brandy and topped with a butter brandy sauce. Said filet can be enjoyed as part of a three-course steak dinner on Thursday evenings, which will only set you back $18. Wednesdays are tapas night, when many regular menu items are served as $5 small plates.
