Boasting a more extensive menu than its smaller seafood counterpart, Pappadeaux truly does offer something for every seafood lover, even the seafood lover who chooses to sample crispy fried alligator on occasion. Started by the Pappas brothers in 1976, Pappadeaux now has twelve locations in the Houston area alone. Although frequently crowded, it's easy to see why this place has earned so many regular customers: the waitstaff is friendly, the portions are oversized and the choices are vast (even for those requiring gluten-free options). Expect a wait, but that wait will be worthwhile if you're partial to consuming mountains of fresh seafood.
