Perry’s is a locally grown steakhouse chain that features both standard-issue items—filet mignon, rib-eye and New York strip, all USDA Prime, and available bone-in or sans bone—and flashier fare like flaming desserts. But the signature dish is the pork chop, a giant slab of pig flesh that’s cured, smoked and caramelized, then carved tableside. Head over at lunchtime for “Pork Chop Friday Lunch” to get a lunch cut of the pork chop for the bargain price of $14.95. (Only the Memorial City location is open Monday-Thursday for lunch, while all locations are open Friday.)
