One of Chinatown's oldest Vietnamese restaurants, Saigon Pagolac is a meat lover's paradise. As with Korean restaurants and Chinese hot pot joints, Saigon Pagolac is a grill-your-own-beef type deal. The Bon mon 7 ("beef 7 ways") is the reastaurants most popular dish and a must try—but only with a large group of people, unless you can take on seven straight dishes of beef. Otherwise, your next best bet is the barbecued beef dish, or "Vietnamese fajitas," bo nuong vi. If you're not a beef person, the restaurant is also equally famous for its whole-fried fish and homemade fish sauce (available on request). A fun and filling place to try in Chinatown with a group of friends.
