For over 50 years, the homey restaurant has served its signature Enchiladas-A-La Taylor with a scatter of raw white onions across the top of plush cheese enchiladas in a dusky chile gravy that’s unrivaled for pure depth of flavor. Ever the iconoclast, Spanish Village also happens to serve an amazing plate of fried chicken complete with a baked potato and hot, buttery rolls. Closed Monday.
