Description
Triniti’s huge dining room, with its high white walls and hanging lights made from jars, gives it an elegant look. Look for the sunny patio while driving down Shepherd Drive—you can see the metal mesh-covered walls and sparkling windows from the street. For dinner, try the succulent pork collar with hearty oats, golden raisins, dried apricots and cranberries, silky butternut squash puree, and dried porcini mushrooms. Young, talented pastry chef Samantha Mendoza constructs lovely, sculptural desserts too, like a round of praline hazelnut mousse with a quenelle of dulce de leche ice cream, with dark chocolate curling over the top like a bridge. The five-course tasting menu will run you $65 per person, or get nine courses for $95.
