Description
Family-owned Zabak's introduced Houston to the falafel when it first opened as Mama's Po' Boys in 1975. After a change in location and name, the falafel is still regarded as the standard-setter in the city. The petite cafe also serves excellent shawarma and gyros, but for a taste of Houston history, make sure the falafel is part of any order.
