Love is Blind (And So is Your Subscription)

Feel lucky? Buy season tickets from Main Street Theater without knowing what plays you'll see

By Michael Hardy March 26, 2013

If your family digs Main Street Theater's Theater for Youth program, here's your chance to prove it. From today until April 12 you can buy a so-called "Blind Trust" subscription to the company's 2013–2014 season before the plays are even announced. The blind tickets are only $12 per show, but you must choose at least three shows to qualify for that rate. Here are the options:

Show #1 (Pre-K and up): September/October

Show #2 (Pre-K and up): March/April

Show #3 (K and up): April/May

Show #4 (K and up): November/December

Show #5 (4th grade and up): February

The company will announce its 2013–2014 season in April, after the Blind Trust subscription deadline has past. To give you a sense of what to expect, here's what the Theater for Youth's current season looks like:

Duck for President

A Little House Christmas

A Wrinkle in Time

Miss Nelson is Missing! (Thru April 6)

Charlotte's Web (April 17–May 24)

Alice in Wonderland (June 8–July 28)
