WHAT: Barkitecture Houston's Yappy Hour

WHY: Raising funds for Pup Squad Animal Rescue

OVERVIEW: Houston dog lovers flocked to the Esperson Gallery for Barkitecture Houston’s Yappy Hour party co-chaired by Diane Caplan, Deborah Duncan, Neal Hamil and Alicia Smith. Barkitecture celebrates the ingenuity and creativity of the Houston community while raising much needed funds for Pup Squad Animal Rescue. Local designers, architects, artists, companies and other groups design and build amazing dog houses which have been donated to Barkitecture Houston and are auctioned off to benefit Pup Squad Animal Rescue.

Bidding for each dog house is open until Sunday, November 1, as Saturday's event was cancelled due to the weather.
