Doggos will also let loose in Frisbee, flyball, and canine musical freestyle events tailor-made for the athletic pooch. Nameless Sound at MFAH Art + Design Community Day

July 21 | Glassell School of Art

Nameless Sound's 12-piece ensemble will scatter across the new Glassell School's grand staircase for a site-specific performance meant to test the acoustical chops of the poured-and-polished concrete palace. Afterwards, join in on the rest of the day's schedule designed to complement the museum's ongoing Joris Laarman exhibition.

Julydoscope

The space-themed evening hosts a screening of this year's CineSpace finalists, 13 shorts inspired by or using NASA imagery. Later, Opera in the Heights and new music collective Musiqa will perform alongside giveaways and other activities.
