Daniel Silva at Murder By The Book

Now might be the time to fall down the Gabriel Allon rabbit hole considering the heightened relevance of Silva's blockbuster spy thrillers; as the author told us in an interview, the just-released 11th chapter in the series, The Other Women, carries a foreboding message: “Russia is not a friend of the West. Russia is an adversary of the West. Russia wants its old empire back.”

Tickets $28.99 (book included). Murder by the Book, 2342 Bissonnet St. 713-524-8597. More info at murderbooks.com.
