Mini maestros enjoyed crafts, activities, visits with Santa, a balloon artist, and the ever-popular Instrument Petting Zoo last Sunday at Houston Symphony's Magical Musical Morning.
More than 250 Symphony supporters and their youngsters donned their festive bests and turned out for the annual event at River Oaks Country Club, transformed into a Parisian winter wonderland thanks to décor from Events Company.
Guests had ROCC to thank for the breakfast buffet of croissant sandwiches, mini quiches, French pastries, and holiday-themed sugar cookies. An engaging performance by the industry-leading Houston Symphony Community-Embedded Musicians rounded out the holiday affair, which raised more than $56,000 for the Symphony's education and community engagement programing.
Ishwaria Subbiah chaired the event along with honorary family Viviana and David Denechaud. Children's activities were underwritten by City Artworks and Betty and Jesse Tutor.
