Last week’s Menninger Clinic 2019 Annual Signature Luncheon at the Hilton Houston Post Oak was a great success, raising $390,000 toward the hospital’s support of patients struggling with complex psychiatric conditions, along with their families.
Five hundred supporters gathered at the lunch, chaired by Kate and Jim Lykes, to hear Brandon Marshall, a six-time NFL Pro Bowler speak. In 2011, Marshall learned he had borderline personality disorder. He has since become a mental health advocate.
The luncheon’s honoree was Project 375, which combats the stigma surrounding mental health issues and works to improve care for youth.
