The Special Olympics team offers softball, basketball, track and field, bocce ball, golf, bowling, aquatics, soccer, and cheerleading for individuals with intellectual disabilities who live in Katy, Texas, and surrounding areas.
In July, during Houston rapper Trae Tha Truth's three-day Trae Day Weekend, Orleans Seafood Kitchen welcomed its newest neighbor, Howdy Homemade Ice Cream by donating 10% of their profits from their opening day to Katy Wolf Pack.
"We’re thrilled Rod Batson and Trae the Truth brought this truly inspiring ice cream concept to Katy," said Payavla.
Not only were the Katy Wolf Packers awarded with a $1,700 check, but many of them are also employed at Howdy Homemade Ice Cream.
"They have a fantastic team over there and my partner, Chance Comstock, and I are thrilled that we were able to be a small part of the festivities and celebrate our new friends over at Katy Wolf Pack and Howdy Homemade."
