As part of a restaurant rebrand, new plans are in place to relocate the original TEN from Newport Beach to Irving, Texas and changing its moniker from Ten Asian Bistro to TEN Sushi. While both Texas restaurants will debut a fresh new design concept and cocktail program, Irving’s location will debut first with River Oaks to follow in early next year.
Serving as the sister to its California counterpart, the Houston outpost will launch in River Oaks across from BCK Management’s other venture, Bosscat Kitchen and Libations, a whiskey bar and dining restaurant, housed next door to Stonelake Partner’s residential properties
“Between our relationship with Stonelake, our success in River Oaks, and symmetry with resident bars in the area, it was a perfect storm for us to choose this location,” BCK Management CEO and co-owner John Reed said in a press release.
Well known for its high energy and creative sushi artistry, Houston’s TEN Sushi + Cocktail Bar will seat about 100 guests for a sophisticated dining experiences. Led by sushi chef Toshi Miura and BCK Management chef Peter Petro, the new restaurant will offer Wok and Pan-Asian influences including their signature black rice rolls.
TEN Sushi will also be equipped with a full-service sushi bar and will feature an 800 square foot patio looking onto Mid Lane. "We are incredibly excited to bring TEN to Houston,” Reed says.
Ten Sushi + Cocktail Bar will open at 4200 Westheimer Road.
