Calling all monster truck enthusiasts, it’s time to start your engines! Dubbed the world’s largest monster truck tour since its inception in the 1980s, Monster Jam has featured world-class trained drivers, touring across the nation to perform the most epic battles on the dirt. Standing over 10.5 feet tall and weighing over 12,000 pounds, your favorite monster trucks are revving up their engines to return to Houston on October 22 for a day of supercharged fun at the NRG stadium

The lineup includes some of its most famous monster truck competitors like Gravedigger, Megalodon, Avenger, and Sun-uva Digger. Fans will also get to watch fellow Houstonian, Elvis Lainez, perform at Monster Jam, and represent H-Town.

Lainez is returning to his roots with his competitive spirit and giving the fans exactly what they want—high speeds and big tricks. The high pitched screaming and crowd chanting are what these skilled drivers look forward to the most—feeding off the high energy and translating it on the track through gassed-up racing competitions and showing off their sick skills. "My favorite part is interacting with the fans because no other sport has the connection that we do with our fans,” said Lainez in a press release.

This year’s tour stop will host a pre-event pit party, which fans can purchase as a ticket add-on to attend and get a chance to get up close and personal with the massive trucks. You will be able to watch live interviews with drivers and participate in Q&As and take lots of pictures. But the fun doesn’t stop here!

The main event of the night will consist of racing competitions along the course, wheelie skills challenges, donut competitions, and the freestyle segment to pull out all the big stunts and leave it all on the dirt. Unlike other sports, fans will not just be onlookers. Take judging into your hands by submitting your scores following each competition/event by signing up for the judges zone on your mobile device.

Fans can now purchase tickets starting as low as $20. Entry for the pit party beginning at 2:30 p.m. can be added on for an additional $20 as well as early admission at 1:30 p.m. for $35. If you want more four-wheel action, pre-sales for 2023 will be available for purchase starting November 1 for Houston tour dates slated for January 28-29 and February 11.
