Nick Esquer

Nick joined Houstonia in June 2015, eager to seek out the latest arts, culture, trends, people, places and things that give life to Houston. He began his career in journalism at the age of 15, reporting on high school sports in his hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona. An Arizona State alum, he was previously assistant editor at Houston magazine.
Nick spends his spare time staying fit, reading, watching Netflix, drinking coffee, and hanging out with his dog/best friend Gatsby.
