Finn Hall, the newest food hall downtown, is now open. On Friday evening, it hosted a grand opening party to show off its eating and drinking options.
Here's what to expect:
- Two full bars: One fills the center of the ground floor with angular seating areas and plenty of televisions, while a second upstairs has lounge seating and a quieter vibe. Plenty of local beers are on tap.
- Concepts include Amaya Coffee, Dish Society, Mala Sichuan, Craft Burger, Goode Co. Taqueria, Oddball Eats (fun appetizer grub), Yong (Korean bites), Low Tide (Gulf Coast), Mr. Nice Pie (pizza), and Sit Lo (Vietnamese). It's a little bit of everything, a mix of familiar faces and food trucks moving on up.
- It's a bit of a maze, primarily with the bar in the center. But once you scope it out, you won't get lost. Dish Society and Goode Co. have corner spots (one would anticipate these concepts have the lines), and Amaya is close to the entrance for those needing a quick coffee.
- The upstairs bar is a nice spot for happy hour drinks, and there's a quiet seating area behind the staircase, for those looking to get some work done with a meal.
Finn Hall is open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 7 a.m. to midnight Friday; 8 a.m. to midnight Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
