New Mexico: Santa Fe

Celebrating global arts & culture.

Presented by Santa Fe Convention & Visitors Bureau July 11, 2017

From now through October of 2017, Cathedral Park in Santa Fe will host a magnificent exhibition of 92 reproductions of masterpieces from the Museo del Prado in Madrid. The exhibition is making its U.S. debut in Santa Fe and is only one feature of the yearlong, citywide “Santa Fe Celebrates Global Arts & Culture 2017.”

Many renowned Santa Fe institutions including the New Mexico Museum of Art, the Santa Fe Opera, the Lensic Performing Arts Center, and of course the unique summer art and cultural markets, have all joined together to showcase first class art and culture from around the world in Santa Fe!

From Velázquez to Frida Kahlo, to pioneers of photography in Syria, from Leonardo da Vinci  to Steve Jobs, from passionate Flamenco to soul-stirring Opera—visitors to The City Different throughout 2017 are assured to experience a vast array of high-quality, global cultural masterworks. In the evening, the celebration continues at many dozens of world-class restaurants where global and regional cuisine, art and culture meet to complete a truly special day.

Experience all that we have to offer and you’ll soon see why Santa Fe is affectionately and accurately called The City Different. Start planning your visit today. Find details on exhibitions, performances and markets along with information on lodging and restaurants at www.santafe.org.
