Fun Things To Do In Houston

The Escape Game Houston
There’s never a boring moment in this town! With so many great options to choose from, here are some of our suggestions for things to do in Houston.

Johnson Space Center
As one of the most popular space museums in the country, Space Center Houston makes science fun. They offer entertaining educational programs, including interviews with real-life NASA astronauts. (We’ve always wondered how they go to the bathroom in space…)

Children’s Museum of Houston
Instead of looking for family-friendly places for the little ones, go to the one place that was designed specifically for children: the Children’s Museum. Part-museum and part-play palace, this place will keep the kids occupied for hours.

The Escape Game Houston
Located in bustling CityCentre, The Escape Game will be the most fun you have in an hour, period. At The Escape Game you'll select a challenge and have one hour to complete your mission and escape the room. Your mission may be to find hidden gold, escape prison, or reclaim a timeless piece of art. The Escape Game isn’t like any other ordinary escape room--they have the most technologically-advanced, immersive games you’ll ever experience.
See a Ballet
There’s more to the ballet than just The Nutcracker. Houston is home to Houston Ballet, one of the most premiere ballet companies in the country. Houston Ballet performs classical and modern ballets throughout the year. It’s a great excuse to dress up and feel fancy!

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
And on the opposite side of the spectrum, dust out those cowboy boots and visit the largest livestock exhibition and rodeo in the world. Taking place over the span of 20 days, this event draws more than 2 million visitors each year! The show also includes concerts in the evening, drawing such big names as George Strait, Miley Cyrus, and Janet Jackson.

Minute Maid Park
When in Houston, do as the locals do: Cheer on the Houston Astros at The Minute Maid Park. This ballpark has been renovated to keep up with modern times: free Wifi throughout the stadium! So you can enjoy America’s favorite pastime with classic peanuts and Cracker Jacks all the while live-tweeting the game without using up all your data. Welcome to baseball in the 21st century.

Houston Zoo
Feed a piranha or a giraffe, get a kiss from a sea lion, pet a slot--these are all possibilities at the Houston Zoo. This 55-acre park is an animal paradise for both kids and adults alike. With plenty of exhibits and educational programs, you’ll never run out of things to explore at this zoo.
