(Fulshear, Texas – March 2019) With beautiful homes, unique amenities and wide-open spaces, Jordan Ranch is proof that it’s better out west.
Located in West Houston just five miles from Katy, Jordan Ranch is a magnet for buyers searching for a traditional, tightly knit community near major employers and urban attractions.
Radiating warmth and a small-town vibe, the community is welcoming the public to explore its 12 professionally decorated model homes, amenity complex and more during Houston’s Largest Home Tour throughout April.
In addition to the models, builders will be opening the doors of dozens of move-in ready homes during the annual event. Visitors can tour the homes daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.
An Egg-stra” Special Lifestyle
As a bonus, the public can attend the community’s Easter Egg Scramble egg hunt, noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13.
During the free event, adults and children can meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs he’s hidden at the Jordan Ranch model home park, 30714 Sonora Ridge Drive. Separate hunts will be held for children and adults with golden eggs containing cash yolks — $50 for children and $100 for adults — hidden among the more traditional candy-filled ones. The whole family can also enjoy the petting zoo, a DJ, photo booth, face painters and balloon twisters. Food can be purchased from Curbside Sliderz Katy, Off The Leash Hot Dogs and Wylie St Tacos food trucks.
New Homes, Classic Fun and a Lazy River
Award-winning builders Lennar, Chesmar Homes, Westin Homes, David Weekley Homes, Plantation Homes, Highland Homes, J. Patrick Homes and Perry Homes offer numerous home choices that can be tailored to fit any lifestyle.
Homes are priced from the $200,000s to the $500,000s with some situated on expansive 70-foot homesites offering lake views.
For fun, neighbors meet up at The Shed to use the state-of-the art fitness center or practice their backhand on the tennis court. Kids work off energy at the playground after school. A large event lawn provides the backdrop for concerts and movies under the stars or the numerous festive events planned by Solomon Delaney, the community’s Director of Fun.
By far, the most popular place to hang is a resort-style pool with one of the most unique amenities ever to grace a master-planned community — a lazy river. Provided inner tubes allow residents to float along the river, which winds around the pool.
Just a Hop, Skip and Jump to Interstate 10
Although Jordan Ranch feels like a country town it is located just a mile away from Interstate 10. That proximity means residents can easily commute to employers along the Energy Corridor.
The Grand Parkway and Highway 290 aren’t far away, either, allowing easy access to restaurants, shopping and the myriad attractions found throughout the area.
Up ahead, Texas Heritage Marketplace is slated to break ground in 2020 on the southeast corner of Interstate 10 and Pederson Road.
