Sienna residents socialize at Sawmill Lake Club, which offers a luxuriously appointed clubhouse, resort-style pool, playground, fitness center, event lawn and more.

Launched in 1997, Sienna in Missouri City already boasts thousands of residents, but the No. 1 top-selling master-planned community in Texas isn’t slowing down.

Heritage Park — Sienna’s Newest Neighborhood
Sienna has long been the first choice for buyers, offering a diverse range of builders, home designs and neighborhoods. Some of those neighborhoods go back a few years, while others like Heritage Park have just opened and are drawing buyers with modern homes designed to fit every budget.

In May, seven builders opened 10 model homes in Heritage Park including Chesmar Homes, Lennar, M/I Homes, Meritage Homes, Newmark Homes, Perry Homes and Westin Homes. Homes are priced from the low $200,000s to the mid $400,000s.

A lifestyle team plans more than 50 annual events yearly for all ages of Sienna residents, including the popular Toddler Fair.

Buyers can choose from Chesmar townhomes built on 28-inch homesites all the way up to elegant Westin single-family homes designed for oversized 60-foot properties.

Homeowners will be within walking distance of both a new dog park and a lush new people park. They also will enjoy proximity to Sienna’s lavish new amenity complex, Sawmill Lake Club.

Growth in Sienna continues later this year, when luxury custom builder Jamestown Estate Homes begins offering homes in the Fox Bend neighborhood.

Sienna Life = Quality of Life
Sawmill Lake Club is arguably the most beautiful of Sienna’s four immense amenity centers. Completed in 2017, the facility overlooks Sawmill Lake. It is more resort than a recreation center with a spa-style pool, state-of the-art fitness center, lakeside fire pit, lounge and adventure playground.

Scattered throughout Sienna are three additional recreation complexes, five resort-style pools, eight lighted tennis courts, more than 100 miles of trails, numerous parks and playgrounds, sports fields, a golf club and a private horse stable. A full-time lifestyle team plans nearly 50 events per year for residents.

It’s all part of “Sienna Life” and contributes to the community’s most valuable asset — communal spirit. Residents love Sienna so much they never want to leave, with many choosing to upsize or downsize within the community.

Current residents also are some of the community’s best marketers with more than 50 percent of new residents mentioning friends or family as the reason they chose to make their home in Sienna.

It’s All Local and Convenient
Just as important as amenities are the quality of the schools, and Sienna boasts some of the best in Houston. The 10,800-acre Johnson Development community is home to seven Fort Bend ISD campuses — four elementary schools, two middle schools and a high school. An additional elementary school and middle school are located nearby, and there are on-site Montessori schools and daycare facilities.

Also located on-site or within a few minutes of Sienna’s entrances are shopping, dining and professional services. This month saw the opening of a 34,000-square-foot Harvest Market on Sienna Parkway.

Sienna residents are often residents for life, staying in the community as they upsize or downsize. More than 50 percent of new home buyers mention friends or family for the reason they move to Sienna.

As a bonus, Sienna’s Highway 6 location and proximity to the Fort Bend Parkway make for an easier commute to employment centers such as the Texas Medical Center. Sienna is located a mere 20 miles from the Medical Center and less than 45 minutes from downtown Houston.

New homes, new amenities, happy people — sometimes it feels like Sienna is just getting started.
