It took not two hours to raise over $13,000 for Dress for Success Houston (DFSH) at the 18th annual Women of Wardrobe Tootsies Summer Soireé on August 22. Featured designers Tanya Taylor and Mignonne Gavigan showcased their fall collections and took to Instagram to tell partygoers what inspired their lines.

With entertainment from DJ Joe Ross and a glitzy mix of fashion, local bites and sips, guests sampled items from Armandos, Austin Eastciders, Chloe Wine Collection, EggHaus Gourmet, Gulf Coast Distillers, La Table Houston, Local Foods + Market, Luck Springs, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Polar Bear Vodka, Postino, Space Cowboy, and Tinys Milk & Cookies.

As a final farewell, nearly 200 guests snagged swag from in-kind donors ALTO, Bayou City Art Festival, Black Swan Yoga, Cheers Health, The Chocolate Bar, Liquid IV, Live by Being, MadHippie, MixHers, Pixi Beauty, Pastries by Paige, SheSpace, Switch2Pure, Tanya Taylor, Teleties, Topo Chico, and Whisps.

“We find it incredible how [DFSH gives] women the tools to really feel empowered and strong at moments of their lives when they need it,” says Taylor of the event and benefiting organization. Since 2003, Summer Soiree has raised over $225,000 for DFSH. President, Lauren Levicki Courville, shared, “Tootsies is an invaluable partner to Women of Wardrobe and Dress for Success Houston. This event is popular year after year while bringing the best of Houston together for our cause. We appreciate Norman and the Lewis family’s continued impact of the women we serve.”
