2021 is coming to an end which means it’s a great opportunity to make your end of the year tax deductible donations.

A benefit to living in a city like Houston is having the opportunity to give to organizations, both large and small, who make impacts through fighting world hunger and racism, protecting the environment, empowering families, and fighting various diseases

The Women's Fund for Health Education and Resiliency

The Women’s Fund accomplishes this mission through education classes and publications focusing on advocacy for individual health and overall well-being – that of a resilient physical, mental, and emotional state.  

Houston Children's Charity

Houston Children’s Charity’s “Annual Toy Distribution” provides holiday magic to children who might not otherwise receive gifts. Parents are invited to shop for toys free of charge as if at a store. Approximately 20,000 children are served through an estimated 80,000 toys annually. Get involved by donating or volunteering today!

Puranik Foundation

The Puranik Foundation is a non-profit organization headquartered in Houston TX. The Energy Project is at the forefront of the foundation's energy sustainability initiative, giving high school students the opportunity to design the future of sustainability. The foundation has created the project-based curriculum in collaboration with Stanford and Rice University professors, and is working with University Mentors, TXRX makerspace labs, and Junior Achievement ambassadors. TWEF empowers the world by helping impoverished income families achieve success.  Since 2002, TWEF has created outstanding programs including Financial Training, Urban Garden and giving away over $250,000 in scholarships to youth scholars.  TWEF cares for the community by serving over 6000 elderly and their families during the COVID pandemic with hosting drive-thru giveaways and virtual conferences.  Through the generosity of many partners such as: HEB & Southwest Airlines, TWEF continues to thrive.

Crime Stoppers of Houston is leading the Nation with innovative crime prevention programming to keep our communities safe. Established in the early 1980’s as solely a Tip Line Program, Crime Stoppers remains committed to its mission to solve and prevent serious crime in partnership with citizens, media and the criminal justice system, and now offers a robust public safety program that is reaching millions each year. 

Hermann Park Conservancy

Hermann Park Conservancy is a nonprofit citizens’ organization dedicated to the stewardship and improvement of Hermann Park. The Conservancy has secured over $125 million in funding for capital improvements for the park and oversees strategic planning for its future. Hermann Park Conservancy also leads programs that focus on visitor services, conservation, tree care, and operations of the McGovern Centennial Gardens.
