Fredericksburg features more than 150 unique shops and boutiques, offering everything from fashion to home décor to specialty foods to handmade jewelry and antiques. Find a one-of-a-kind piece of art or pick out a locally made product to take home.

Fredericksburg’s parks provide plenty of space to relax and explore the scenic beauty of the Texas Hill Country.

Texas Wine Country
The more than 50 wineries and tasting rooms that are in and surround Fredericksburg provide plenty of scenic beauty for any visitor to enjoy. Grab a glass of vino and enjoy the afternoon on a patio. Many wineries offer live music and small bites to enjoy with wine. Leave the planning and driving to someone else when you book with a local wine tour company.

Outdoor Adventure
Besides Texas Wine Country, Fredericksburg offers several outdoor activities for all ages. Plan ahead and take a hike up or around Enchanted Rock State Natural Area. Park passes frequently sell out during beautiful spring weather, so be sure to book passes early. If Enchanted Rock isn’t an option, check out other local favorites like nature trails at Wildseed Farms, Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park and Cross Mountain.
