The YMCA Camp Cullen facility is best-in-class and intentionally designed to deliver a high-quality, immersive experience to kids of all ages. The cabins, activities, layout and amenities, mixed with the well-preserved natural environment provide a perfect setting for fun, growth, excitement, disconnection from the hustle of the world and reconnection with nature and new friends. The facility includes:

• Clean, climate-controlled cabins with en-suite, individual bathroom and shower facilities
• A brand-new infirmary operated by trained medical staff who are available 24 hours a day
• Private waterfront access with a dock for sailing, skiing, tubing and banana boating and a 100-foot-long water slide
• A state-of-the-art equestrian center featuring 30,000 square feet of arena space
• A dedicated Arts and Science Center featuring a dance room, pottery studio, science classroom and a stage for performing arts 

3. Campers learn and grow through unique programming
There are many aspects that set Camp Cullen apart from the rest, but our House System and 5 Core Values play a key role in the camper experience.  

House System
Through our House System, campers are assigned to one of four camp houses:

• Phoenix
• Lusca
• Dragon
• Centaur 

Houses are a community within the camp community. Once assigned to a house, your camper and your family remain in that camp house throughout your time at camp, as well as from year to year. This instills in kids and their families a sense of pride and a legacy from their time at camp. Houses also allow children to step out of their comfort zone and join a new group of people.

5 Core Values 
Summer camp is about fun, but it’s also a place for kids to thrive and grow. All of our programs are centered around our 5 Core Values:

• Honesty
• Caring
• Responsibility
• Respect
• Faith 

These words mean different things to different people from all backgrounds, and we highlight one value each day to discover what it means to our campers. We live and explore these values and spend time throughout our week together in reflection and conversation as we strengthen a child’s understanding of their own value system.

4. You can visit all year long
Camp Cullen isn’t just a place for the kids, we want the whole family to be part of our community. Through a variety of different opportunities, campers and their families can visit camp all year long and enjoy the same activities and experiences that are offered during the summer.

• Family Camp: Offered one weekend each month throughout the year. An opportunity for families to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life in the great outdoors. 

• Family Fun Day: Spend the day at Camp Cullen and see what we’re all about! Tour the facility, meet the staff and try out some of the activities offered at summer camp. Upcoming dates: March 13, April 24, May 8. 

• Year-Round Horseback Riding: Saddle up and ride all year long at YMCA Camp Cullen! From beginner to expert, we offer many opportunities for riders of all ages to spend time with our herd and enjoy our state-of-the-art equestrian center. Join us at Riding Club, Trail Club or even just visit for the day.
